How will hiring a professional photographer make a difference to my business?
A sharp, clean, well-lit, properly composed photo will always make your business look better. The inverse is true as well. A poorly lit, crooked, low-resolution cell phone photo can make your business look subpar. If you are a realtor then you already know that it is the images that first catch the imagination of a potential homebuyer. If you are a designer or architect then it’s possible that for the majority of your potential clients, these images may be the best way they ever get to interact with your design work. Hiring a professional photographer means you get the right photos the first time, saving you time and money.
How much does it cost?
While pricing out a project can depend on some details, I try to keep the pricing structure simple. For Pricing details and booking please contact me here.
How do I pay?
Please be prepared to pay the photographer before licensing is granted for the photos. The photos may not be used in any way until the license is issued.
Do I own the copyright to the photos?
I give you an open license so that you can use the photos on the web or in print. No renewal fees, no royalties. More information here. Chris DiNottia retains all copyrights expressed or implied.
Can I use the photos on my website or in other marketing materials?
Yes. The open license allows you to use the photos to advertise you and your services whether in print or on the web. Photo credit must be clearly stated somewhere on the photo, or the page where they appear.
How long does a typical photo shoot take?
This will depend on the type of property being shot and the intent of usage. For design or architecture the time needed for the shoot will completely depend on the intended look and feel. For a typical real estate photo shoot I will usually take 4-6 hours. There are no short cuts for producing professional quality images.
How many photos are included?
For a design or architectural project it will depend greatly on the client and their needs. For a standard real estate shoot you may expect 15-20 fully edited images.
Do you do photo retouching?
Yes. All of my photos use a combination of traditional photographic techniques with digital tools and post production to create dynamic professional images that look elegant and balanced.
What if I don't like the photos?
In the event that you are unhappy with the photos provided I will void the license and refund your payment. It’s my goal to work with you to create exactly the images you have in mind. I am absolutely my own harshest critic. Making images that I feel good about is the highest priority.
